Other than that, it was attack mode from the get go from the Marina out to PCH.

This year the Peloton received a "personal escort" from the City of Newport Beach.
I was only able to hang on for 15 miles until I turned around in Newport Beach and headed back to the Marina. Out of shape and not in good riding condition, I had a rough time enjoying the ride this year.
