Yep, it was also a great, nice ride for group A2 . After the PCH restroom stop, A1 took off, however, A2 continued "chit chatting" while waiting for the Rock Racers to come. But there were no sign of them, so off we went. Amazingly, near the Jamboree Rd we all recognized A1 fellows insight (were we fast or were they slow??? we wondered). But not for long A1 disappeared in our barely eyes.

The New Port Coast climb did some damages on us all but we fought back hard and we have all made it to the top (looked like we are all ready for the Purple Monster). This was where Billy P joined in the ride.

The strength in A2 was emerged, everyone of us did engage, taken turn pulling the pack, then RR came out from nowhere also joined us, we were all happy to see our comrades in VV jersey then together pulled into the Circle K water stop. We waited for A1 to arrive for a while, but was no sign of them, so off we went. On the way out, we saw A1 started pulling in to the Circle K, but sorry guys, we gotta go, see yah...

It has been always hard on the Back Bay Drive, head-wind was tremendous, we've again taken turn pulling the pack, everyone huffed and buffed...muscles cranked up from all legs, teeth grinding, groaning sounds every where but we've still maintained our speed strongly. Suddenly, one after another 3 RRacers & Alex broke away from the pack like a spear ripped through the head-wind further...further...and gone, it was so excited to see how strong they were. Everyone, finally gathered up at the Marina and slowly headed off out to the PCH.

We've all turned into the SART, this time we did not stop for resting, everyone was still in good shape...together we rode in a nice pace line, everyone was happy and enjoyed the moment. We talk we joked and we laughed... boy didn't we love the moment like this? We maintained the speed of 19 mph in pace line orderly and fashionably.

After we passed the bridge we were still enjoying the speed, draft and jokes...came from behind a random rider shouted loudly & irritatedly "Your Left" into the ears of Minh Ly then passed the group with his full speed...that was it...it triggered the souls of these soldiers who have been waiting & reserved their ammo and strengths for their last battle...Minh Ly broke out & charged after the guys...then RR...then Alex, Tuan, Loc and I also broke away from the pack. The take off was strong and quick, for a short distance Minh Ly passed the other rider impeccably then RRs, Alex, Tuan, Loc and I one by one passed by him...the guy was not easily got beaten, he fought back hard, he downed-bar along with the force that he exerted on his pedals I know he will not giving up the fight that easily...we raced up and down the SART. Just a few miles but we have all enjoying the challenge from this ruthless rider...we did not want to engage, we know the rule...but we just to let him know that "be nice"... we are all sharing the same road, we are not slow riders we are not that typical cruisers we are VeloViet riders traveling in fashionably order. We are just only A2 and I am wishing one of these days that guy did the same thing to our brothers A1 then he will see what he going to get.

At the Warner-turn we let him go on...everyone met up again and shared our thoughts, everyone were satisfied and proud and of course exhausted.

That was the reason why A1 could find any A2's cars at the parking lot...we were long gone.

Ride On...
