Man Down !!!

We received news today that Big H, of the VeloViet's Tri-Crew team, broke his collar bone in pieces last Saturday when he crashed at full downhill speed of 36mph into another cyclist who braked on yellow light. Here is a picture. Ouch!!!

Lesson learn here is never ever draft another rider too closely when flying downhill above 25mph. Also you don't know what the front rider will do so don't be directly behind him either. Ride a bit to the side.

Also anticipate what upcoming light will do and yell out to the group if you are stopping. If safely, you can run accross on yellow but don't run on red. You don't know if a car is coming on the cross street.

We hope Big H get well soon.

Take a minute to Blog some support for Big H!

Hey A2 Group. GUESS WHAT??? We got Fed-Ex and Nic doing baby intervals, Jason, Dashaan, and now Big H out with injuries, and Ironman is vacationing in Paris. The A1 Group is short on man-power !!! The riders left are strong, but can this skeleton crew take on the large A2 Team?

This Sunday is THE TIME for the A2 folks to attack these A1 guys!!! Come on now, we have the Rock Racers, The Postal Unit, The Tandem Teams, The Road Captains Toan and Long, we can take them on folks! We can first sacrifice the newbies and rookies on attacks, The Postmen can go next, follow by the super-strong tandems and Road Captains, and finished off with the Rock Racers as they like to sprint last and fast. The A1 won't know what hit them!

Come on out this Sunday and support our teams!!! Don't miss this!!!

Out,
Phong
