July Social Ride

Hi,

One of our VeloViet member Billy D had a tumble on today's ride, but thankfully he is okay except for some minor cuts and bruises. Billy will need to replace his handlebar and rear brake lever though. Chi also had a tumble at the same time, but he and his bike were okay.

A loud shout out of THANKS to the kind-hearted therapist who stopped and helped Billy out on University Avenue! Also a BIG thank you to our member Michael B who cut his ride short to go home, get his car, and took Billy home.

Although this was a social ride, the action was on as the route boasted some significant climbs. Guest Lily tackled the hills well and is looking like a future QoM contender. Sang's nephew did extremely well too, and we hope to see these two on future VeloViet rides again!
