Amtrak Century continue...

After the first team(Thomas, Richard, Ed, & Scott M) have turn around. The main group continue to ride down to Camp Pendleton. This where the second team(Andy, Dashaan, Scott D & Duc) are turning around and head home. Anh Loc and I decided to continue on to San Diego with Mac and the gang. We got to Seaworld a little after 3pm, but spend 30 minutes finding Amtrak station. Since we are already in SD. Mac and I have decided that we have enough riding for one day, so we hit for the nearest bar for much needed foods and drinks.

There are some amazing views of the beach and ocean along the way, but we don't get to enjoy it as because we have to focus on the road traffics and direction.

Overall, it's a great century. Congradulation to the rookies(Mac, Michelle, Minh, Viet, & Alvin)! You have made it through your first century. Now you know what it take to be a Veloviet... : )

  2. Thanks to everyone who rode with us on Saturday. Couldn't have made it to SD without you guys. Especially without Loc and Spiderman leading the way. We probably would have ended up in a Tiajuana strip club, which wouldn't have been a bad idea ;)
