  1. what is the story behind this picture? curious to know how the frame failed like that. you know the speed and what he crashed into?

    You would think a direct front impact the fork would fail first since cross sectional area of the fork is much less than the top tube or down tube. Once the frame top tube/down tube fails, how did the seat stay and down tube fail? Loads can't get transferred to the rear section of the bike if the front section is snapped off. Was this multiple impact from several different directions? Wouldn't the wheels absorb majority of the impact load thus putting less stress into the frame?

    I am just damn curious now...

    This a fake picture or over exaggerated failure? is this a Ridley hater posting this stuff to scare them to buy a Trek? Thomas...you do this? lol

  2. Trek comes with a lifetime warranty baby. Never fear. Also, if you ride a Trek, you wouldn't be riding in the back of the group. :)
