A2 Team had a 10-15 minute lead on A1 team from the stop. A1 caught up somewhere on Newport Coast with guys like Kazu pulling at 30 mph on PCH. Those animals!
A2 Team then burn itself trying to match A1 team. Some were successful and took off pass CircleK, while the others had to stop for rest and water. But the A2 Team never quit, and even rallied and encouraged the Newbies to continue, made to teh top of the Portola climb as A1 Team was descending.

ReplyDeleteI have to salute to the newbie team, the pace was tough the heat was unbearable in the Irvine area but they just kept on cranking & hanging!
A+ to the newbies!
Ride on...
Look forward to another Sunday training ride. Love to see big smiles on everyone's faces.
